Product Overview

NameLDHB
Description
Lactate Dehydrogenase B Recombinant
Immunogen
Anti-human LDHB mAb, is derived from hybridization of mouse F0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from BALB/c mice immunized with recombinant human LDHB amino acids 1-334 purified from E. coli.
Synonyms
Lactate Dehydrogenase, LDH, Lactate Dehydrogenase B, LDHB.
Introduction
Lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) is an enzyme(EC1.1.1.27) present in a wide variety of organisms, including plants and animals. A tetrameric enzyme that catalyses the interconversion of pyruvateand lactate with concomitant interconversion of NADH and NAD+. At high concentrations of pyruvate, the enzyme exhibits feedback inhibition and the rate of conversion of pyruvate to lactate is decreased. In vertebrates, genes for three different subunits (LDH-A, LDH-B and LDH-C) exist.
Physical Appearance
Sterile filtered colorless solution.
Formulation
1mg/ml containing PBS, pH-7.4, 10% Glycerol and 0.02% Sodium Azide.
Applications
LDHB antibody has been tested by ELISA and Western blot analysis to assure specificity and reactivity. Since application varies, however, each investigation should be titrated by the reagent to obtain optimal results.
Type
Mouse Anti Human Monoclonal.
Clone
PAT14D7AT.
Ig Subclass
Mouse IgG 2a heavy chain and k light chain.
Purification Method
LDHB antibody was purified from mouse ascitic fluids by protein-A affinity chromatography.
Storage Procedures
For periods up to 1 month store at 4°C, for longer periods of time, store at -20°C. Prevent freeze thaw cycles.
Stability / Shelf Life
12 months at -20°C. 1 month at 4°C.
Precautions
LDHB is for research use only and not for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.
