This paper aims to delve into the dynamics of mouse C3b, shedding light on its functional attributes and potential applications in immunological research. C3b Inactivated protein has lost its biological capabilities due to structural changes compared to C3b that has binding sites to factor P, factor H, factor B, factorC5, and factor-I and therefore it destroys these sites. Significantly, C3b inactivated protein cannot bind factor B and is therefore it cannot participate in complement activation. C3b inactivated protein still binds tC50 properdin and CR3 receptor. | |
