| LIM Homeobox Transcription Factor 1, Beta (LMX1B) is a part of LIM-homeodomain family of proteins which consists of 2 N-terminal zinc-binding LIM domains, 1 homeodomain, and a C-terminal glutamine-rich domain. LMX1B plays a role as a transcription factor and is necessary for the specification of dorsal limb fate at the zeugopodal and autopodal levels. Mutations in LMX1B are associated with nailpatella syndrome. | |
